Got a New Grandson!

Granddaughter, Keilah married Weston last weekend. They make a lovely couple and a great pair. Finally tied the knot after seven years! Keilah is my eldest son’s eldest daughter. More weddings planned later this year. Our family tree seems to be sprouting branches everywhere! Keilah is a clothing designer. She had a hard time picking just one dress, so she wore one for photos before the wedding and another at the wedding.

After endless pictures, tears of joy, and festivities, there is always a day after a wedding. We stayed one day longer to go into the city of Philadelphia to view the Liberty Bell (more on that later) and trudge home to Downingtown, PA to eat leftovers in the frig. The bride and groom joined us as well as another newly-married couple of grandkids from VA. Our usual eleven around the dining table at the B & B swelled to fifteen….

The Family Tree Grows

The Family Tree Grows

One of the joys of being a grandparent is watching those wiggly little people bloom into adults. Soon we will add another graft into our family tree. Mike is his name. He’ll marry granddaughter, Kristen. Then we’ll have another person to call family. This wedding will be the third of our fourteen grandchildren. I’m glad I’m still around to participate in these fun events. I doubt I’ll live long enough to see them all married–the youngest is only nine.  ….
