God, The Supreme Court, and Roe v. Wade

God, The Supreme Court, and Roe v. Wade

For the past 60 years we have turned our back increasingly on God, beginning with the Supreme Court decision to take prayer out of schools in ’62.

The other day I ran across Numbers 14:11-12a which reads:

And the Lord said to Moses, “How long will this people spurn Me? And how long will they not believe in Me, despite all the signs which I have performed in their midst? I will smite them with pestilence and dispossess them . . .

For the past two years we have experienced pestilence through Covid. The next step after pestilence is dispossession. That word dispossession in Hebrew means “to impoverish, come to poverty, be poor, to destroy, bring to ruin, disinherit.”

As of Friday morning, Nov. 19, the House voted to throw us further in debt and bring us into deeper socialism. This will drastically increase our taxes, send inflation through the roof, and bankrupt us. The only thing that stands between us and God’s judgment is repentance.

On Dec. 1, the Supreme Court will have an opportunity to roll back a wrong decision made in 1973 concerning abortion on demand in Roe v. Wade.

We have a choice. We can either come under the rulership of Almighty God, repent of our national sins, and pray the Supreme Court strikes down Roe v. Wade, or continue under the judgment of our righteous God.

Will you pray to that end? God is more anxious to answer than we are to pray.

Which way will we choose?

  1. Amen! You are absolutely right. Our disobedience and slothful unrepentant ways have brought us to the very place we are as a nation.
