An Inspiring Read
In digging through my old books I ran across Rees Howells Intercessor by Norman Grubb. I hadn’t read it in over forty years so I decided to give it another reading.
It’s about a Welsh coal miner in the first half of the 20th century who gave himself to the Lord without reservation. He lived a life touching many from Wales to Africa, to untold thousands around the world. In his later life he established a Christian college in Wales and a home for missionary’s children. The students through deep intercession, changed the course of WW II.
It’s well worth the read. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see what God can do through a single person totally given over to Him.
My newest book, The Road Home, an account of my husband’s lung cancer and God’s faithfulness to widows, is now available in paperback and eReader on Amazon.com. Hard Times in the Heartland and all my books are available here.
