Black Bottom Pecan Pie
Thanksgiving means pecan pie. I make mine with chocolate chips in the bottom. Yum! Here’s the recipe.
Black Bottom Pecan Pie Recipe
Heat oven to 350 degrees
Ingredients
3 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup pecan halves
1 9-inch unbaked pastry shell
Instructions
Beat eggs thoroughly with sugar, a dash of salt, corn syrup, and melted butter. Add pecans. Pour into unbaked pastry shell.
Bake in 350 oven for 50 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between the outside and center of the filling comes out clean. Cool.
Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or Dream Whip.
