Simple Pleasures
In this time of Corona virus 19 we have been put in time out so we can tune in to life in a slower lane.
Sunday I watched church (Colonial Presbyterian Church Live) on Facebook. Then I went out to clean up the debris of dead plants left from winter. As I pulled some weeds I noticed tiny pine cones blown from my neighbor’s tree.
We had some 50 mile-per-hour winds the other night that must have blown a bunch off the thirty foot pine tree that sits next to my yard. I picked up a handful, then another. After a half hour I had a plastic bag half full.
I’ll us these to make some small wreaths for Christmas gifts.
What simple pleasures are you uncovering in this time out?
