Our Heritage in God
Isaiah 54:17
(The Lord said) “No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their vindication is from Me,” declares the Lord.
Satan is known as the accuser of the brethren (believers). (Revelation 12:10).
Take heart. A day is coming when believers will receive our inheritance as God’s children. On that day we will sit in judgment of Satan and his angels (I Corinthians 6:2,3)—our enemy who has accused us day and night. This one who has continually set himself against us. The one who comes to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10).
Our vindication, our justification, our salvation, is from the Lord. He will bring it to pass because He promised it. He is the Almighty God. No one is greater or more powerful. What He says, He will do.
Remember this. Never forget it.
Is there an area of your life you need to ask God to intervene with His power?
Father God, thank You for our inheritance in Christ Jesus
which is far above anything we could think or dream.
Keep reminding us of the day we sit next to You judging our accuser.
Thank You for Your ever-present, power
which bonds us to You and You alone.
