Heavenly Bellboy?

Heavenly Bellboy?

heavenly bellboy

Mark 11:24
(Jesus said) “Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they shall be granted you.”

When our desires are His desires we can ask Him to intervene in a situation and He will.
Some people call this, “Having no mind in the matter.” In other words, we need to put our agenda aside. Ask God to pray through us whatever His will is in a given situation. Stand back. Get out of the way. Leave room for Him to move.

When we pray what’s on His heart; for Him to act according to His will, then we can be assured what happens is His will.

Many times people are disappointed and say, “God didn’t answer my prayer.” In reality, they probably handed God a grocery list of their wants, complete with suggestions on just how He was supposed to accomplish each task.

He’s not our heavenly bellboy. We need to get in sync with His plan that only He knows, then pray with the full assurance He provides.

Lord Jesus, I pray for You
to show me what, how, and who
to pray for in each situation.
May You be glorified in all things.
May I pray with boldness
to see Your will accomplished.
