Resting in God’s Arms

Resting in God’s Arms

The Savior

Deuteronomy 33:27
(Moses said) “The eternal God is a dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms, and He drove out the enemy from before you, and said, ‘Destroy!’”

There is no safer place on earth than in God Almighty. No expertly-designed shelter can keep us safe apart from God’s eternal arms. There is no strength greater than His.

Those who are hostile to God and His ways are in danger of destruction at His hand.

The residents of Canaan, the land God promised the Israelites when they came out of Egypt, can attest to God’s power.

The Canaanites worshiped idols and sacrificed their children in fire to their fertility gods. They were hostile to God’s ways. That’s why God sent the Israelites to destroy them and take over their land.

Are you resting in God’s everlasting arms?

Lord Jesus, may I be at rest in You
and in Your power.
May I live my life
giving you pleasure
all my days.
